Vaginal steaming is an ancient herbal treatment for the uterus. Traditional healers across the globe have used vaginal steaming to remedy almost any aspect of uterine pathology. Also known as Yoni steaming (yoni is Sanskrit meaning womb), the treatment is used to aid in fertility, relief during menstruation, and to clean and revitalize the uterus.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a cup of herb mix. Turn down the heat some so that the pot continue to boil but does not boil over. Let the tea boil for 10 minutes then remove from heat, cover and let steep for 5 minutes. You can even DIY a Yoni steam chair, but you can just place the pot in your toilet. Be careful and check the temperature of the steam you do not want to burn yourself. You will want to wrap yourself in a blanket and create a tent around your legs. If the steam is too hot move the blanket and let air in to cool it down. Enjoy your Yoni steam for twenty minutes.
